About Corinna
I’m Corinna and I’m the founder of Connect Women in Biz. After years as a primary teacher and then building a successful baby business, I experienced a significant burnout.
It was during that time, two years ago, that I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD.
This experience gave me a profound understanding of the unique challenges faced by neurodivergent women in business, and helped me understand why I struggled so much with traditional business practices.
I realized that many women, especially solopreneurs and freelancers like those I was mentoring, were struggling with the same challenges – feeling isolated, overwhelmed by marketing, and craving genuine connection.
That’s why I created relaxed, women-only networking groups. We provide a safe, supportive space for women to connect authentically, share their experiences, and build nourishing relationships that help them grow their businesses.
Unlike traditional networking, there’s no pressure to generate leads or referrals. It’s about creating a community where women, especially those who are neurodivergent, can feel comfortable and supported.
Fully committed
My commitment to supporting women extends beyond Connect Women in Biz. I’m also the director of The Little Hub Wakefield, a Community Interest Company I founded to reduce isolation among mothers.
We provide funded baby massage classes, mum support groups, and other essential services, thanks to successful funding from the National Lottery.
My own journey has shown me the power of connection, and now I’m passionate about helping other women thrive in their businesses and lives.

I also maximize the effectiveness of online sessions by starting promptly, maintaining focus, and providing replays for on-demand access, with sensitivity to executive function challenges associated with ADHD/Autism.
